- Proof of remote work: employment letter or client contracts with non-Brazilian entities.

- Passport valid 6+ months with two blank pages, recent photo.

- Clean criminal record certificate, usually from the last 3 months.
- Bank statements for the last 6 months.
How to apply
- Complete the online form at the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs portal and upload scans.
- Print and sign the form, then mail originals to the nearest Brazilian consulate, or follow local instructions for in-person drop off.
- If you are already in Brazil, request residence as a Digital Nomad through the MigranteWeb system and finalize with the Federal Police.
- Watch for requests for extra documents and attend biometrics if asked.
